Anderson Community Schools we believe that all students will learn to their fullest potential in a safe caring and the environment is our mission to inspire and encourage and support every student to achieve at high levels academically socially and as responsible citizens we achieve these goals by hiring skilled and caring Staffing every Department from teachers and administration to custodians food service and other educational support staff we believe that every member of the acsc family plays a vital role in the success of our students and each other the work environment is phenomenal this is been my favorite place that I have ever worked and I worked in several school systems all of you know the fellow teachers have a really good camaraderie with each other everybody it's like a family unit where everybody's County with each other we can relate to each other I come from a family that worked in the community opportunity to go work in a different Community but I chose not to do that I was to make a difference in my community you are rewarded everyday because you know that you have made a difference in these children's lives and it's a great work-life balance I love how much they include children of all different backgrounds the diversity that fear the inclusion that they have they're so loving and everyone is still willing to help out with any task so when I think of my co-workers I really do think of family reach their Highest Potential weather through academic Community involvement or student-focused approach or our goal to continuously improve each member of our team plays a vital role in the success of Anderson Community School as one of the largest employers in Madison County we recognize our staff makes all the difference ask stuff we offer competitive wages benefits and a great working environment my youngest was in third grade it is very rewarding to see at the end of the year where they started from and where they end up at knowing that you had something to do with it Anderson height has the most advanced programming anywhere in their medicine County the people I work with particular secretaries and principles I feel Stronger by having them as my allies I feel comfortable talking to anyone of them and sometimes I can give them some input on things to we have so many opportunities here I started off as a teaching assistant in 1985 I think it was and now I'm working as the administrative assistant of the superintendent I've enjoyed every bit from position that I've had in the corporation and so many more that people can do to be a part of it everybody in this building to educate a kid I try to make it my goal every year to try to connect to one student and to make maybe a change in their life or just to say hi or just so they know that there's a nice looking out after all ACS is a gem in in the community we have the most caring staff we have Captain has the most experience of all the schools in the county where the best at what we do and we love kids and we are students will have an amazing experience since 1873 Anderson Community Schools has been striving to create an in that is welcoming and rewarding to both students and staff we invite you to become a part of this proud tradition the impact you will create on Generations now and in the future the friendship you will make that will last a lifetime and the unforgettable experiences you will create are all possible right here in Anderson find out more about the exciting career opportunities online and become a member of our team today
