Here you will find information for registering new and returning students online and in-person. While there are no book or technology fees, we need new students to enroll and returning students to register before the school year begins. Here is a link to our 2026-2027 school calendar. The first day of school is Wednesday, August 5, 2026. We are continuing with the balanced calendar meaning there will be two week breaks during the Fall, Winter, and Spring. The last day of school is scheduled for Friday, June 4, 2027.
Note: Students at Eastview Pre-K Center and Southview Preschool Center will start school one week later than our K-12 buildings on Wednesday, August 12, 2026.

School supply lists for students in grades Pre-K - 6 can be found on this webpage. There are no supply lists for students in secondary (Grades 7-12). However, teachers may have items they request students bring in after school starts.
It is important to make sure your students are up-to-date on their state required vaccinations. Our school nurses have compiled a webpage that includes information about required and recommended vaccines along with other health and medical information and resources.

There are several community back to school events going on in Anderson and Madison County. Many of these events provide free school supplies, haircuts, and clothing to help students get prepared for the start of school.
The Transportation Department is working on new bus routes for the upcoming school year. For those using bus transportation, please check this webpage again prior to the first day of school. Please note that bus pick up and drop off times may be different this year than they were last year.
The YMCA is offering before and after school care for students at the Eastview Pre-K Center and elementary students in Grades K-6. There is a cost. However, financial assistance is available. Those interested in before and / or after school care will need to complete the application found on our website.
We love having parents, guardians, family members, and community members volunteering at our schools! Individuals wishing to volunteer are required to complete a background check each school year.
There are a variety of substitute, part-time, and full-time positions available at Anderson Community Schools (ACS) for the 2026-2027 school year. Working at your child's school offers a variety of benefits including being on the same schedule as they are.
