The Anderson Marching Highlanders took home top honors Friday at the 2025 Indiana State Fair Band Day.
The competition featured 34 high school marching bands from across the state at the fair's Opening Day.
Second place went to the Spirit of Muncie Band and Guard, and Kokomo High School finished third.
"With bands from all different places across the state, the competition provides a stage for students to captivate audiences and demonstrate musicianship. The 34 participating bands displayed remarkable passion, skill, and creativity, making the judging process harder," a state fair spokesperson said in a press release.
