New Point of Sale (POS) system

The Anderson Community Schools (ACS) Food Service Department will begin using a new Point of Sale (POS) system in all of our school cafeterias on Wednesday, May 1, 2024.

Student procedure will stay the same

Students will continue to type their student ID number as they come through the serving line with their meal.

Prepaid money on student accounts

Where you load money onto your student's account is changing. You can no longer load money onto your student's My School Bucks account. However, any money currently in their account can still be used. Any unused money in your student's account will be transferred to their account in the new system called LINQ Connect.

You can create a LINQ Connect account for your student(s) beginning on Wednesday, May 1, 2024. To do so, visit: www.linqconnect.com, click "register" in the upper right hand corner, and follow the instructions.

A la carte purchases using cash

A la carte purchases with cash will continue as they are currently. However, they will only be available for students at Anderson High School during the first few days of the transition (May 1-3, 2024). Cash payments will resume at other schools again on Monday, May 6, 2024.
