Anderson Community Schools has partnered with Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Indiana to host free monthly food distributions at 9 schools during the 2023-2024 school year. Students are invited, along with their families, to pick up free food each month at their school's monthly distribution.
Provided below are the monthly times for each school*:
- Anderson High School - 1st Monday, 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm
- Edgewood Elementary School - 2nd Monday, 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm
- Erskine Elementary School - 2nd Wednesday, 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm
- Anderson Elementary School - 3rd Tuesday, 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm
- Highland Middle School - 1st Thursday, 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm
- Anderson Intermediate School - 2nd Tuesday, 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm
- Valley Grove Elementary School - 2nd Thursday, 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm
- Tenth Street Elementary School - 3rd Thursday, 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm
- Southview Preschool Center - 4th Tuesday, 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm
*Distribution nights may change in October, December, and March due to breaks. Please check with your child's school to ensure you have the correct date during these months.
