McKinney-Vento

The McKinney-Vento Homeless Act is a federal law created to support the enrollment and education of homeless students. McKinney-Vento is intended to provide homeless students the educational opportunities as housed students by removing as many barriers to learning for homeless students as possible.

Indiana Code 20-50-1-5

All Indiana local educational agencies (LEAs) are required to post information regarding the McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act on their website. Pursuant to IC 20-50-1-5, each LEA must have a dedicated McKinney-Vento webpage on the district’s website.
