Tanglewood Conference Center

Tanglewood Conference Center was built on the grounds of a former Girl Scout camp. The ACSC Building Trades class, part of the Ebbertt Education Center's vocational offerings, were entirely responsible for the planning and building of the all-stone structure. Surrounded by natural forest, the building is within easy reach of any point in the city.

Rules for the Rental of the Tanglewood Conference Center
  • No alcoholic beverages of any kind are allowed on the premises
  • Smoking is strictly prohibited within the facility
  • Any event involving publicity or advertising of the Tanglewood facility must be approved by the Business Office prior to finalizing the lease agreement
  • Rental fees are due in full prior to the event
  • A one-million dollar certificate of insurance is required at the time of rental
  • Catering services are available through the Anderson Community Schools Food Service Department. (Link to the Food Service Catering Menu). Outside food is also permitted.
  • Rental agreements are made through the Anderson Community School Business Office. All requests must be submitted in writing at [email protected] least 4 weeks prior to the event. No verbal agreements will be honored.

  • 1 hour minimum-$50.00
  • 2 - 4 hours-$62.50
  • Over 4 hours-$125.00
  • Weekend Package - Friday, 4:00 P.M. - Sunday, 6:00 P.M.-$350.00
 
Commercial, Non-Community, Non-Civic, For Profit

Individual Days - Sunday through Saturday
  • 1 hour minimum-$75.00
  • 2 - 4 hours-$125.00
  • Over 4 hours-$250.00
  • Weekend Package - Friday, 4:00 P.M. - Sunday, 6:00 P.M.-$600.00
