The Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA /No Child Left behind (NCLB) Act of 2001 in section 1118 part A requires all school districts to create and inform parents/guardians of the following documents:

- School Parent Involvement Policy
- Parents Right To Know Letter
- Three Way Pledge / Parent Compact
