AUTISM RESOURCE TEAM

The goal of the Autism Resource Team is to serve as a resource to schools and to provide a base to the child's multidisciplinary team (parents, teachers, therapists, and support staff).

To contact the Autism Resource Team if you need information about Autism Spectrum disorders or related services, contact your building principal or one of the team members listed below.

TEAM ROLE:

• Collect and share information about characteristics of children with Autism Spectrum Disorders.
• Problem solve and offer suggestions for working with autistic children.
• Assist in transition planning.
• Provide a resource packet on Autism Spectrum Disorders for teachers and parents working with autistic children.
• Provide in-service to all individuals working with autism.
• Disseminate information to assist in providing effective programming for students with autism.
