Episode 62 (57 American): Beach Blank-out Blastoise
Ash and friends have just beaten Blaine for the 7th badge and are running for the ferry to get back to the mainland when clumsy Ash trips over a Wartortle! Wartortle says to follow him. Squirtle dons Squirtle Squad glasses and gets in the water with Ash, Misty, and Brock following. They arrive at the island to find.... Squirtle and Wartortle shells! Wartortle says that something happened. Ash, Misty, and Brock look around and find a Blastoise shell.. Brock figures out what happened to Blastoise. Ash listens inside Blastoise's shell and hears strange music. He falls asleep. Pikachu wakes everyone up and Blastoise wakes up to find something stuck in his cannon. A pink, rubbery thing goes up to the top of the shell. It's Jigglypuff! Team Rocket comes inside a Gyarados machine and tries to steal Blastoise, but they fail. Jigglypuff gets out of Blastoise's cannon, and Ash, Misty, and Brock get on the ferry to the mainland.
Episode 63(58 American): The Misty Mermaid
Ash, Misty and Brock are back in Cerulean City! Horsea is swimming in a fountain, and Brock says Horsea needs somewhere better to swim.  They see a huge line coming out of the Cerulean Gym.Ash, Misty and Brock go inside and see Misty's sisters, Daisy, Violet, and Lily. They say they need Misty to perform the water show. Misty reluctantly agrees, and the day to perform the show arrives. Meanwhile, Jesse and James of Team Rocket want to steal the Water Pokémon. The show starts fine. Violet and Lily are backstage, ready to go on the show, but they are jumped by Team Rocket. Team Rocket goes into the water and put all the Goldeen in a net. Misty grabs the net, and a tug-of-war insues. Meanwhile, Ash and Brock go backstage to tell Daisy not to go on the show because Team Rocket is making mischief. Ash and Brock go into the pool. Daisy has a puzzled look on her face. Togepi hears muffled noises inside a locker, and Violet and Lily fall out, tied up. Meanwhile, Jesse sends out Arbok. Misty's Horsea gets beat by Arbok. Seaking goes out and almost beats Arbok, but Arbok wins. Ash's Squirtle goes out, but is also beaten. James sends Weezing, but Weezing is made of gas, so it floats to the surface. Daisy, Violet, and Lily come out and send out Psyduck, but Psyuduck is stupid, so it loses. Then, the sisters send Seel. Seel evolves into Dewgong, and beats Team Rocket. The show is a big hit. Misty gives Starmie and Horsea to her sisters, and Ash, Misty, and Brock leave.
Episode 64 (59 American):
We start the episode seeing cute little Jigglypuff in the forest, singing. Then, a UFO crashes and Clefairys come out! Meanwhile, Ash, Misty, and Brock are eating ice cream. Suddenly, a Clefairy comes. Misty says Clefairy is cute. Misty tries to catch it, but it runs away. While they are gone, someone steals their food! When they get back, they see their food stolen and report it to Officer Jenny. Suddenly, A scientist named Oswald comes and says aliens stole the stuff. Ash, Misty, and Brock follow Oswald, and a UFO crashes into Earth. Jesse and James, disguised as aliens, come out and take Pikachu. Ash, Misty, and Brock stop them, but Clefairy steals Pikachu from Team Rocket before Ash can get it back. Jigglypuff shows up and takes Ash, Misty, Brock, and Oswald to the Clefairy's base. The Clefairys are building a rocket to the moon. Jigglypuff fights the Clefairys in a slap contest. Ash saves Pikachu. Oswald and the Clefairys go into space, and Ash, Misty, Brock, and Pikachu head for Viridian City.
Episode 65 (60 American): The Battle For The Badge!
Ash and friends have arrived in Viridian City, but Gary goes into the gym first. Ash, Misty, and Brock wait outside for their turn, but Togepi runs away! Team Rocket captures Togepi.  Giovanni battles Gary, and Giovanni's Mewtwo kicks Gary's butt. Jesse and James take Togepi to Giovanni, but Giovanni says Togepi is a worthless pokémon and Togepi escapes the gym. (Togepi doesn't know any better, actually he just walks out.) Giovanni gets a phonecall that says there's been an accident. Giovanni leaves the gym to Jesse and James while he's gone. Ash goes inside and his pokémon lose to the gym's Kingler, Golem, and Machamp (It doesn't help that TR has installed a device so that the trainer feels the pokémon's pain!) Pidgeotto and Pikachu beat TR's pokémon, so Meowth tries to blow Ash up. Gary stops him at the last second. Jesse says Ash can't have the badge. Togepi goes over and sends Jesse, James, and Meowth sky-high. Ash gets the Earth Badge, and heads home.
Episode 66 (61 American) Its Mr. Mimie Time!
Ash is headed home to Pallet Town when he sees a Mr. Mime! Ash tries to capture it, but a pretty girl shows up who wants the Mr. Mime. Brock (being the girl crazy guy he is) makes Ash let the girl have Mr. Mime, and an argument starts. Mr. Mime runs away. The girl says she wanted Mr. Mime because she runs a circus and she needs another Mr. Mime since her Mr. Mime won't perform. Ash, Misty, and Brock head to the circus. Meanwhile, Jesse and James want Mr. Mime. Back at the circus, Brock says that the circus will have a Mr. Mime and makes Ash put on a Mr. Mime costume. The day of the circus arrives, and all is well until Team Rocket shows up and kidnaps Ash in the Mr. Mime costume thinking he is really a Mr. Mime. Back at the TR hideout, Jesse and James have Ash tied up, but Ash makes like Houdini and escapes. Ash steals the Meowth balloon and goes back to his house. When he gets there, he sees his mom has a new friend, a Mr. Mime she calls "Mimie". (How cute!) Ash, Brock, Misty, Ash's mom, and Mimie head back to the circus, but Team Rocket shows up in a tank. Just when it seems all is lost, Mr. Mime comes and saves the day along with the other Mr. Mime that wouldn't perform. The Mimes fight off Team Rocket, and the Mr. Mime who wouldn't perform goes back to the circus. Mimie stays with Ash's mom, and Ash says he'll go to Professor Oak to learn more about the Pokémon League.
Episode 67(62 American): Showdown at the Poké-corral:
Ash, Misty, and Brock have arrived at Professor Oak's lab. They see Gary there. Gary says he is here to show his grandpa all the pokémon he caught. The Professor inspects Ash and Gary's pokédexs and says that Gary has caught more species than Ash, but Ash has more pokémon because Ash caught about 200 Tauros at the Safari Zone. Gary says he wants to battle Ash, but Team Rocket comes. Team Rocket says they want all of Ash and Gary's pokémon. Then, Ash's Tauros come and chase Team Rocket away. Gary says he'll battle Ash at the Pokémon League. Then, Gary leaves. Ash, Misty, and Brock know they have two months to train for the pokémon league, so they go off to train.
