Special Education Paraeducator Positions

Paraeducators are needed in elementary, middle school, and high school programs for the 2008-2009 school year.
Qualified applicants must have one of the following:

• Associate Degree,
• 2 years of college (60 credit hours),
• or passing score on Praxis exam. Exam can be taken in the Special Education office.

Applications may be obtained at the Personnel Office, 1229 Lincoln Street, 641-2135. Transcripts and local criminal history check required. Please submit all materials to the personnel office.

This position pays $75.00 per school day. Paras have 1 personal and 2 sick days per semester. Healthcare benefits are not available with this position.
