Before coming to Anderson Community Schools, for 15 years Felix Chow worked in public education in Michigan serving at executive levels as the Director/Principal of two high schools (vocational-technical and alternative: 900 students, $6 million) in Battle Creek; as the Chief Financial Officer of Mott Community College ($55 million) in Flint; as the Chief Financial and Operations Officer and the Superintendent of Flint Community Schools (25,000 students, $230 million); and as Superintendent of Hamtramck School District (3,000 students, 22 languages, $33 million). In 2008-09, he was a contracted consultant of Oakland Intermediate School District assigned to Pontiac School District as the Interim Deputy Superintendent of Business and Auxiliary Services (7,000 students, $98 million).
