During the 2011-2012 school year, 'Elizabeth' (not her real name) had 26 discipline referrals and a grade point average of 0.286.  By March of 2013, she has received only four discipline referrals and her GPA is 4.0!  And Elizabeth isn't the only student to experience such a dramatic turn-around in her school career.  A number of Success Academy students spoke about their experiences at the March 2013 Board of Trustees meeting.  'Our teachers really CARE about us."  was the message received loud and clear.
