March 8-12, 2010 is National School Breakfast Week.  Breakfast is offered every day in all Anderson Community Schools.  The breakfasts are designed to provide for students at least ¼ of the daily Recommended Dietary Allowance for protein, iron, calcium, and vitamins A and C.  A hot breakfast is offered every day at all levels in all buildings.  In 2008-2009, over 395,000 breakfasts were served.  “Power Up With School Breakfast”

These menu items are offered to every child in Anderson Community School Corporation.  There is an additional choice of entree’, a peanut butter & jelly sandwich and a variety of vegetable, salad, and fruit sides (may choose two) and milk also offered daily at each school.
